My Top Clean Beauty Product Recommendations

Clean Beauty Products

If you haven’t checked out my article on why I made the switched to all-natural beauty products, I highly suggest you check it out! In it I share the top reasons that I traded in my not-so-natural lotions and potions for clean beauty products.

Ok, but now onto the good stuff! After some trial and error, I’ve found a few products that I’ve come to love and I’m so excited to share them with this audience. Warning: my skincare routine is anything but complicated. On a daily basis, I use just a small handful of products. But I’m confident these will make excellent staples in anyone’s morning or nighttime routine.

As usual, this is not a sponsored post. These are just a few products that I love. I hope you love them too!

Versed Soak – Rich Moisture Cream

This is my go-to moisturizer. It’s light enough that you can apply your make-up over it, but heavy enough that you can feel its moisturizing effects. This moisturizer rivals any other moisturizer I’ve used, but its vegan, cruelty-free, and leaves no oily residue or build-up on my skin. In fact, I’ve experienced a noticeable decrease in Milia, the little unwanted white dots that can build up around pores due to excess oil. This product is oil-free and my skin can totally tell the difference!

This moisturizer is also completely fragrance-free, which I’ve come to love about some of the clean beauty products. There’s nothing worse than opening a new product to find that it smells like the potpourri dish in your grandma’s bathroom.

The packaging is lightweight, simple and easy to toss in your bag. And for the money ($18), I think it’s an amazing deal! I buy all my Versed products at Target, but I think you can also buy them at Walmart, or directly from their website online. If you’re looking for a great AM or PM moisturizer, I highly recommend you give Versed Soak a try.

Versed – Stroke of Brilliance Brightening Serum

A good vitamin C serum is at the cornerstone of every great skincare routine. And the Versed – Stroke of Brilliance Brightening Serum is definitely worth a try! I apply this every other morning, to clean skin, before the Rich Moisture Cream. My skin went crazy my first trimester of pregnancy, and this has helped tremendously with reducing the look of dark spots that remained.

Again, this product is not oily so it’s great to apply in the morning before make-up. And again, you can’t beat the price at just $20.

Beautycounter – Refresh Foaming Cleanser

Beautycounter was the first brand I tried when I made the switch to clean beauty. And while I have honestly liked every product that I tried, I do feel like some of them are overpriced. However, I am obsessed with the Beautycounter – Refresh Foaming Cleanser, and at $35, I think it’s worth the money. After all, I bought this close to a year ago and am still on my first bottle!

I use this product exclusively at nighttime to remove make-up and prep my skin for its nightly moisturizer. It does a great job removing make-up, is fragrance-free, and leaves my skin feeling clean while still feeling moisturized. The product is super gentle and very slightly foamy. Note, this product is a cleanser, not an exfoliant, making it a great, everyday product. However, you may need to periodically supplement with something more exfoliating.

Vintner’s Daughter – Active Botanical Serum

By now you have probably noticed that I’m a bit budget conscious when it comes to my skincare. But hey, taking care of your skin shouldn’t cost a fortune! However, at $195 the Vintner’s Daughter – Active Botanical Serum is definitely a splurge item. But, if you use it like I do, you can make it last!

This serum, which smells floral and delicious, leaves your skin looking ooey gooey so it’s definitely a good nighttime product. After cleansing, I apply half a dropper to my face and neck, 2 to 3 times per week. This has been my routine for the past year, and I still have half a bottle left! So, while it’s a splurge, you don’t need to use much product each use so you can stretch a bottle for a long time.

This product is ultra-moisturizing and leaves your skin looking bright and hydrated in the morning. If you are looking for the ultimate way to spoil your skin, I highly suggest adding this to your nighttime routine a few nights a week.

Parting Words

As I mentioned in my previous post, I’m still relatively new to the clean product world and feel like I have just scratched the surface of what’s available. If you have any favorite products, please comment below! I would love to hear what other products people are loving!

And remember, your skin is your biggest organ. It absorbs everything you apply to it. Just as it’s important to fuel our bodies with healthy foods, its just as important to fuel our skin with all-natural, chemical free options.
