Why you Should Adopt a Gluten Free Diet
Whether you have Celiac disease, a gluten intolerance, or are simply looking to live a healthier lifestyle, I truly believe that adopting a gluten free diet is one of the best decisions you can make for your health. Take it from me. I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease 15 years ago, loooong before most of us had ever heard of gluten. And I am honestly so thankful for my diagnosis!
Why?
Because the gluten used to produce many of the foods we have come to know and love is highly processed and hard for our bodies to digest. It has become a leading source of inflammation in our bodies, which in turn can lead to a variety of other health conditions ranging from anxiety/depression, autoimmune disease, skin conditions, joint pain, and brain fog, just to name a few. Seriously, the list is long!
When you adopt a gluten free lifestyle you are simultaneously reducing your risk of suffering from this laundry list of health conditions. You are giving you body a chance to thrive. To increase your energy levels, improve your mental clarity, cultivate a healthy microbiome, and feel BETTER.
